I'm from a tiny town in Oklahoma where I met my husband, Cutter, when I was 7 years old. We were high-school sweethearts and finally got hitched in 2016. He is the best, and he is the reason I get to do what I love. We welcomed our sweet little boy in 2020 and he sure keeps us on our toes! My two guys are the light of my life.
I started my photography journey in 2017 and went full-time with my business in 2019 after leaving my career in accounting. I find so much joy in using my passion to give clients photos that they love - photos they can look back on and cherish for a lifetime!
Hey! I'm Jessi
I'm married to my high school sweetheart, who I met in the 3rd grade!
We have one son that we welcomed in 2020. It is a constant struggle not to cover him in kisses every waking moment.
I could eat Mexican food every night for dinner, but my husband won't let me. Just ask him about the "endless" enchiladas...
My phone battery is always dangerously low.
I have watched "Friends" from start to finish too many times to count, but I still laugh at the same parts and always cry at the end of the series. Same with "The Office" too, if I'm being honest!
I love to road-trip with my husband. We've driven through 31 states together and plan to get to all 50!
My favorite place I've ever been is Salem, Massachusetts.
I play multiple musical instruments. I started playing guitar when I was six, picked up drums a few years later, a little bit of piano, and even banjo at one point! I still hope to learn violin one day.
I LOVE live music. Going to see my favorite bands in concert never gets old.
I'm a movie freak! I love horror films (though it's not often that I can watch them alone), but I'm also a sucker for a good comedy. I could quote the entire movie of Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Don't judge me.
I am SUPER sentimental and nostalgic, which I think is one of the things that drew me to photography in the first place.
If I could visit any decade, it would be the '80s.
My marriage is the greatest blessing of my life. Through all of life's ups and downs, the one thing that has remained constant is my husband. He is my rock, my very best friend, and an absolute goofball - I could not imagine doing life without him. I have a passion for capturing that love and bond between two people because I know how important it is to me in my life. To be able to look back on not just the memories of your wedding day, but to see the emotions and remember how you felt, will remind you of your love for each other throughout the life of your marriage.
Photography is so much more than just a snap of a picture or the delivery of a gallery. It has the power to hold a moment still in time, to give you a visual of the memories that you cherish the most, to see the parts of your life that are dear to your heart.
