Rustic Inspired Wedding Near Enid, OK

I photographed the Fagan wedding at the Home Place Country Estate just outside of Meno, OK. This wedding was a blast to be a part of! They had so many fun and unique touches incorporated into the day and it was exciting to document for them. Jade and Josh were so sweet and I really enjoyed spending the day with them.

Josh didn’t know Jade wanted to do a first look until the wedding day. I told him we’d be doing it soon and he was a little surprised. He went with it, though, no problem. I found a line of trees to be the perfect spot and I walked Josh into position. He stood there for a few moments, waiting anxiously to see his beautiful bride for the first time.

The nerves and anticipation were almost too much to handle when he felt the light touch on his shoulder. It was time to greet his gorgeous bride-to-be for the first time. I’m sure his heart was fluttering as he turned slowly, only to come face to face with none other than his best man in a white gown! Cue several minutes of laughter and a wedding day memory they’ll never forget!

This was one of several things incorporated into their wedding day that really shows their fun-loving attitude. It’s all too easy to get lost in the details of your big day, so to see Jade pull a wedding day prank like that on Josh was so refreshing. It’s a great demonstration of the playfulness of their relationship, which is one of the things that makes their dynamic so special.
