When there’s a senior in the house, it’s pretty much a given that there will be a senior session at some point. But when is the best time to schedule? A summer session could capture the beautiful outdoors and the free spirit of the senior before their last school year starts. You can have it in the fall of senior year, making great use of all the gorgeous foliage. You can schedule a winter session in hopes of capturing any snow we might get. Shooting in the spring will give you pretty blooms, and the option to include that cap and gown. In my opinion though, two is the way to go!
Senior sessions in the fall are a must. Nothing beats those beautiful red, orange, and yellow hues in the backdrop of a senior spotlight. Plus, we all know that girls LOVE to show off their fall fashion! You can’t go wrong with a fall session, period. But, seniors won’t have the cap and gown at that point. That’s where the extra spring session comes in!
I had the pleasure of working with Grace twice throughout her senior year. We got together in the fall to do her traditional senior session, and then again this spring to include her cap and gown. She is such a sweetheart and an absolute joy to work with! I love her style too. It definitely takes me back to my high school days!
Grace, thanks for working with me so well during your senior shoots. Congratulations on your graduation!
